May is Mental Health and Trauma-Informed Care Awareness Month. In Palm Beach County, we observe this important month through Get Your Green On (GYGO), a grassroots, youth-led initiative now celebrating its tenth year of promoting connection, support, and community wellness.

Through the collaborative efforts of Birth to 22: United for Brighter Futures and its many partners, the annual Get Your Green On campaign raises awareness about mental health and trauma by encouraging visible support and fostering safe spaces for open conversations. Plus, we invite everyone in Palm Beach County to show their support by wearing green on Thursday, May 15, 2026, and joining the effort to build a healthier and more compassionate community
